Moving from a stunning autumn into the coming winter here in New Zealand, I write to you from Dunedin, on the south island. I have been touring the south since just before Easter weekend (having arrived in NZ March 27), and am astounded (again) by the magical beauty of this land. Snow covered mountains, brilliant sunshine, green rolling hills, bright yellow poplars lining roads and fields, fairytale cloud patterns, wild ocean coastline...what a gift to be here, and also to catch up with dear and precious friends along the way. I'm blessed.
Wow, the last 2 weeks have been full on with concerts most nites and twice on Sundays. During this time I've been mostly in the extreme south, and some of these places I've haven't been for 20 years. It's been practically a different bed each nite to sleep in, so moving along, but seeing such a wonderful presence of God to touch and stir hearts. People have been responding by returning to a intimate relationship with the Lover of our souls, and asking for prayer to recapture that close and passionate walk with Him. There have been some rededications, and many needing healing from wounded hearts. Many hearts are dry and running on a christianity of 'ought to' and 'have to' rather than than one of whole hearted, full color, sacred romance. May God continue to take these precious hearts by storm.
I've been inviting people into the story, the big one God is telling, where the themes are romance, battle, and adventure. Themes that require us to live from our hearts, which is true christianity.
The time is already going much too fast, as June 3rd, I will head to the north island again, and then June 26, it's over the ditch to Australia (a big ditch). I have 6 weeks there until July 30, when I fly to Malaysia. There I will be in Kota Kinabalu (on the island of Borneo) til Aug.17, then flying to the Philippines and ministering there until Aug. 28. From there to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) til Sept.1, and then to Cambodia from Sept. 1-15.
I will return to New Zealand Sept. 18 for approx. 3 weeks, then over to Los Angeles til Oct. 20, when I'll get home again.
Please pray for the Lord to continue to take hearts by storm, in these dangerous days we live in. May He raise up a people unto Himself, fully alive and caught up in Christ.
