Hi everyone, we're exactly a month away from Christmas Eve as I write this. So I want to wish you all a most wonderful, magical, and blessed Christmas season. May the joy of Christ fill our hearts esp. this time of year.

Well, I've just finished up most of the work on a dual C.D. project. Just some finishing touches to do in Dec. and then we mix in Jan.  If you've read my last update, you'll know I took advantage of my time at home this autumn, and took on the 2 C.D. project, one being a more conventional Rob Berg C.D. and the other a piano based instrumental album, that I've dreamed of doing for a long time. So for the last 2 months, work has been done on these, following the work on my house thru-out the spring and summer, so this is kind of the last days of a very busy year. I also recorded 'In Love, At War, On Fire', last spring and that will be set for a January/08 release. Please watch for that.

Just in a nutshell, then, I have yet to sell my house, and then hope to find a townhouse in or near the city, to make my home after that. I hope this can all be settled well before I leave for S.E. Asia next March. Initially I had planned to leave early Feb. but have now decided it's best to leave just after Easter, and then will be visiting the Philippines, Cambodia, and Malaysia, over the next 3 months. I'm really excited, as this has been a 20 year vision in my heart to go to this part of the world. I always felt sure the time would come, and now seems like the time God is leading there.

Being as I'm now leaving for Asia later, that means I'll be home mid June/08, but only for 3 weeks or so, before heading off to Ontario(July) for 2-3 weeks, and then on to Europe (Romania for 2-3 months, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and more for the next 2 months) til early Dec.

So that's why I wanted to record the 2 albums this autumn, being as I won't have much chance to do any recording next year.  This has been the first time in about 20 years that I've not travelled overseas, and have been home for the most part. An unusual time, but one ordained of the Lord, and I love that He holds our lives in His hands.

p.s. just some extra tidbits: I went to Calgary for the Covenant awards, but unlike the Maja in Toronto in Aug., I didn't pick up any awards on my nominations, but really enjoyed being there.

Also, learned that my song 'Universe' was chosen for the 2007 'Sea to Sea' compilation C.D., a CCM collection of the top worship songs in Canada, and released across the nation in late Oct./07. Check it out at a Blessings store or christian music/book store near you.
