THREE CHILLIWACK RECORDING ARTISTS + ONE ABBOTSFORD PRODUCER = A WHOPPING 23 MUSIC AWARD NOMINATIONS THIS FALL, BRINGING HOME THREE FOR CHILLIWACK SO FAR!

SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 (Chilliwack, BC) -- On August 25th, three Songwriters /
Recording Artists from Chilliwack Debbie Fortnum, Lisa Adrianne, and Rob
Berg, and Chris Janz from Abbotsford were recognized in Toronto at the 2007
Canadian Maja Awards for their recent, outstanding recordings. Between the
four of them, they received a 16 AWARD NOMINATIONS and then brought home
three awards for Chilliwack! Debbie Fortnum co-hosted the black tie / red
carpet Ceremonies with the Ambassador to Dominica, Grammy-nominated Gospel Singer, and TV Personality, Dr. Bobby Jones from Nashville.

Then, on Tuesday, September 11th, the Canadian Gospel Music Association
announced that the Chilliwack Artists had received yet another seven music
award nominations bringing the total up to 23 MUSIC AWARD NOMINATIONS for
Chilliwack and one up-and-coming Artist / Producer from Abbotsford, Chris
Janz!

Debbie Fortnum received three Canadian Maja Award Nominations for her new
CD, "The Beautiful Piano."

Lisa Adrianne received six Canadian Maja Award Nominations for her
outstanding debut CD, "Carry On" which is a tribute to her mother (Mary
Ann Wiebe of Yarrow) who passed away of Breast Cancer in 2006.

Debbie Fortnum's song (LOVE NEVER FAILS, the NEW vocal radio single from
The Beautiful Piano) has also just been chosen by the largest Canadian
Christian distribution company (CMC) in partnership with Blessings Christian
Marketplace to be the Special Bonus Feature Track for their combined,
Canada-wide Compilation CD called "Sea to Sea 2007 - The Voice of
Creation".

Fortnum also had the privilege of recording a duet with Abbotsford's Brian
Doerksen on his new CD, Holy God, which was also nominated for six Covenant
Awards. Abbotsford's newest Christian Rock Band, Starfield also received
five nominations.

This Friday, Decades Coffee House is hosting a CONGRATULATIONS PARTY for
the four artists at 7:30 p.m. There will be free appetizers and extra staff to
accommodate the evening crowd of well-wishers! All artist's CDs will be
available for purchase and autographing.
