I just got word that I received  6 nominations for my C.D. 'Life on
Purpose' at the 2007 Maja Awards held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this Aug.
25/07.  This is the first time  I have submitted my music to these awards
and so I'm not too familiar with them, but I have just learned that on-line
public voting will go toward the final decision of the judges, and will
count for 15-20% I understand. So starting sometime this Aug., if you'd like
to go to their website ( www.majaawards.com ) and cast a vote for me, it would
be greatly appreciated. Just go to the website and near the bottom of home
page is listed 'The Maja Awards Toronto Red Carpet Gala'....2007, just click
on that and look for the box for 2007 Maja award nominees to view, and then
back to the box for on-line voting.(voting begins early in Aug.)

  Here are the catagories I have been nominated in:
  1. Contemporary gospel album of the year
  2. Male artist of the year
  3. Producer of the year(shared with Chris Janz)
  4. Video of the year (for 'Posing', available to view on my website)
  5. Artist of the year
  6. Album of the year

  I plan to attend this event(which means getting into a suit or
tux(ughhh!!) so will head to Toronto approx. Aug. 17...and spend a week or
two there.
